Who exactly is Old Shoe Records?

Old Shoe Records is the Brainchild of 3 Nobel Peace prize winners. It was formed in the late spring of 1982………….. But Seriously why do you care? If you must know we’re just a few people who honestly love music and especially the local music scene. We were tired of having some of our favorite local bands go unnoticed, So we decided to start this little dog and pony show and help these bands get noticed.



Who distributes music/merchandise for Old Shoe Bands?

We handle our own retail distribution. If you are a store or distributor who is interested in carrying our Music, shirts and accessories, please contact us. All shirts and accessories you see in our online store are available to retailers at wholesale prices.



Do you all really wear Old Shoes?

No, Some of us have nice new ones.



Who handles radio promotion for Old Shoe Records?

If you are a radio station wishing to be added to our Promotions/service list, please send us info about your station/show to Josh Stolo at joshs@oldshoerecords.com. Sometimes if we're not familiar with you yet, it helps to receive information about your show etc... Please Keep in mind that we have a limited number of promos for each release.



My Friend and I just started this awesome hardcore band, and my friends mom just bought our drummer this awesome brand new drum set from Costco, will you sign us?

Who handles press for Old Shoe Records?

Our publicity is handled in-house. If you are interested in interviews, reviews etc. please email us at info@oldshoerecords.com



I started a zine/website.Can you send me promo copies of your releases to review?

Send us a copy/information about what you're doing. Please understand that we get a limited number of promo copies of each release, and even though we'd like to, we're not able to send them to every publication that asks.



My Band Wears Old Shoes, will you sign us?

No



I work at/own a record store. Can you send me posters and play copies?

Is Old Shoe Records Hiring?

At this time we have no openings.



Do you have street teams?

Not Just Yet! However Sign up for the newsletter and as soon as we launch the Street Team program we will let you know.



My Band has the most amazing Myspace Page ever. We have a Million friends and a lot of people leave us cool comments and stuff, will you sign us? Oh Yeah and one more thing we even have Tila Tequila as a friend.

How can I get in contact with a band or a band member?

In most cases, we have links to the band's personal webpage. Their contact info should be available there. You can also email us at info@oldshoerecords.com we will do our best to pass along the message.



When are Old Shoe Bands going to come play in my hometown?

We post tour dates on our site as soon as we get them from the bands. We're always really happy to hear about places bands can play in your hometown, though, and keep that info on file for when people are planning tours.
